Phil Holt, MBA, CBI, CBB, CMSBB, CMMBI is President and Principal Broker (DRE #01731143) of Sunbelt Business Sales and Acquisitions. He has over 50 years in selling, buying, owning and operating small and mid-sized businesses, working variously as broker, proprietor, consultant, investor, and manager. In addition to business brokerage, he has direct operational experience extending through wireless communications, deep sea diving, marine construction, commercial fishing, commercial real estate development and brokerage, food warehousing and distribution, as well as non-profit social services. He also served as a U.S. Navy SEAL. His breadth of experience, across the country and worldwide, both strategic and hands-on, in operations and finance, has given him a keen perspective on the challenges and opportunities presented to small and mid-sized businesses and the issues faced by their owners in seeking to convert the equity in their companies into cash and other investments.
